Who am I?
I'm Abokuma Ellis, Founder and Events Director of Purple Twirl Events, a luxury events company I built from the ground up in Accra in December 2010.
Sixteen plus years later, I'm considered one of the early pioneers of Ghana's events planning industry, back when there was no formal local training and I had to learn from books sourced from the US. I've since built a multi-brand portfolio spanning luxury events, destination celebrations, memorial services, a wedding fair and summit, and a training platform built to hand down everything I've learned to the next generation of event professionals.
Today, I'm focused on a different kind of impact, training corporate teams, event professionals, and individuals to plan and execute exceptional events, and sharing what sixteen years in this industry has actually taught me.
